Privacy and Imprint
The brief version
We may record your IP address for at most one hour to limit automated requests and we may store anonymous queries e.g. for caching.
The complete version
We record two kinds of data:
- anonymous queries (stored permanently)
- your IP address and time of access (stored for at most one hour). This data is kept separate, so all queries are anonymous.
We may use the recorded anonymous queries e.g. to answer future identical queries faster (caching). Since these queries are anonymous, they do not constitute personally identifiable data.
We may use your IP address to limit the rate of repeat accesses to our systems to ensure stability of the service. For this reason, IP addresses are stored for at most one hour. This is done based on our legitimate interest to keep the service stable as per §6 1f GDPR. You do have the right to inquire about the data we store about your IP address at this time and can have us delete, factually correct and restrict access to this data. Furthermore, you have the right to object to us recording this data according to §21 GDPR.
The relevant government authority on privacy is dsb.gv.at where you can file a complaint.
